I'm a 7

This piece is a selection from a series of musings as I processed the relationship between my being a 7 on the Enneagram and my childhood traumas. It is a bit disjointed and may feel like it ends abruptly, however this is often how life and processing as a 7 works. There will be a video in the next few weeks that better expounds upon this.

I’m a 7.

I’m an adventurer who always seems to go by in a perpetual whir of motion.

I’m an enthusiast and a lover of anticipated thrills.

I can never stop moving.

I embrace the rose-colored glasses to my very being.

I draw from my endless reservoir of cheerful rationalization.

I dive head-first, yet keep it all at arm’s length.

If I stop, I may feel more.
