Let’s Rise Together!
At The Phoenix Empowered, we believe that meaningful change happens in community. Whether you’re seeking a consultation, interested in hosting a workshop, exploring ways to support our mission, or hoping to collaborate, we’re grateful you’re here.
As someone who utilizes a wheelchair, José asks that interested partners consult with us regarding appropriate accommodations. When travel is required, we ask that hosts provide lodging and transportation that meet ADA accessibility guidelines. Speaker fees are adjusted based on event format, the number of engagements, and the duration of the commitment.
We welcome writers, producers, journalists, educators, organizers, donors, and community members who want to join us in building identity-informed mental health spaces. Let’s connect to learn more about your goals and explore how we can collaborate to support your community’s needs.
If you are requesting an interview, podcast appearance, media contribution, or if you’d like to volunteer or support TPE through fundraising or partnerships, please complete the form on this page so our team can direct your request efficiently.

Testimonials
“A talk about mental health awareness, differences, and learning to embrace every part of us that makes us human… wonderful talk and I can’t wait to see all of the inspiring things that you will continue to do!”
“Jose, every month I think that video is my favorite BUT this ONE is MY FAVORITE! Exceptional job!!”
“Thank you for joining us on the Community Summit webinar program today. I wanted to sit down and talk and talk and talk… because the experiences that you shared, the experiences that young LGBTQ and young people with disabilities have in their families, schools, communities…those conversations have to happen! I think that the gay community has to work on inclusion of differently abled individuals, and we as a whole community have to make safe spaces for individuals who experience the intersection of disability and LGBTQ identity to be themselves. So, thank you for sharing your story, and thank you for creating a safe space for people to share their stories.”
“Thank you for always taking the risk of making yourself vulnerable. It takes a lot of courage to show others that they are not alone.”
“Thank you for seeing me, hearing me, and honoring me in all that you do”
“A captivating TEDx talk! You’re onto something amazing!”
“Jose R. Rosario’s over here changing the world with raw truths and a beautiful approach.”
